  • Provide student advisees who have attended, completed, or are currently enrolled with advising services such as:
    • major advisor referral assistance
    • programs of study information
    • campus support resources
  • Sustain an engaging and resourceful advising website for student advisees, faculty, and the community with the following content:
    • new student advisee information
    • current student advisee information
    • frequently asked questions
    • campus resources
    • PASS/SMART
    • faculty/staff resources
    • quick links
  • Provide the student advisee population and faculty advisors with a graduation audit that is:
    • accessible on MyCSI
    • available 24hours/7 days
    • accurate, user-friendly
  • Support course retention and persistence initiatives by serving as a liaison between instructors and students via:
    • Positive Action for Student Success (PASS) program
    • Students Making A Right Turn (SMART) program
    • Summer Success program
  • Assist academic suspension students in producing successful contracts which are:
    • student-centered
    • retention-based
  • Facilitate faculty advising learning opportunities fundamental towards becoming a well-informed and knowledgeable program advisor through:
    • advising training sessions
    • Advising Guide
  • Serve as a voting representative on the Curriculum Committee, which reviews and approves:
    • curriculum requirements
    • program requirements
    • instructional action recommendations
  • Maintain an advising best practice presence with the following campus and national committees:
    • Instructional Council
    • Faculty Advising Committee
    • Faculty/Staff Development Committee
    • Computer Skills Assessment Committee
    • Safety Committee
    • Professional and Classified Employee Organization
    • National Academic Advising Association
  • Represent the institution to the community, service agencies, and school districts at various:
