The Student Success Alert Program is a partnership between the CSI Advising Center, the CSI Student Success Center, and CSI faculty. The program provides proactive support to students who faculty identify as having an academic concern. Once referred to the program students receive an email informing them that their instructor has a concern. The email encourages students to contact their instructor to develop a plan to address the situation if needed. Students may also be contacted by their Focus Area Advisor/Academic Coach for further assistance and could be referred to additional campus resources if appropriate. Faculty will be notified of the result of the intervention. The Student Success Alert referral will not be part of the student’s permanent record.
